Transition

With endless packing already under my belt and an indefinite number of boxes still to go, I’ve had little to no time to go online. Although to some, this may not be a big deal…for me, it’s tantamount to placing me in a room with a bottle of wine…and no corkscrew.

Just shoot me now...

As much as I know I must focus my efforts/energy/concentration on the mind-numbing task of wrapping stuff in bubble wrap (only to unwrap said bubble wrap a scant four days later), my heart tugs each time I walk past my computer. My fingers itch to rest happily on the keyboard…and I long to hear the tap-tap-tap of my thoughts spilling onto my virtual blank page.

I miss my internet home away from home…and I miss all of you. I find myself worrying whether you’ll still be here when I finally come up for air…and I long for the downtime to obsess about tracking numbers, Twitter followers, Facebook wall posts and Google analytics.

I’ve postponed reading all of your lovely comments until I can devote the time to visit with comments of my own at your fabulous places. I'll get there...you know I will. I’m always torn between remaining silent and wanting to reach out…for that small moment of sanity in an otherwise chaotic time.

Realistically, I may not surface again till the 11th or 12th of next week, so here’s wishing everyone a happy and safe Mother’s Day. Whatever your plans for this weekend, here’s hoping it’s filled with the laughter and sweet moments of family and friends…and I’ll see you guys on the flip side…

To happy memories and an abundance of love for you and yours~

If I could, I'd send you a corkscrew with a ittle pink bow on it for mothers day.

Either that or a ce bottle of bubbly with the cork al superglued in, for that extra little taste of 'Home'

Of course we'll still be here when you get back. It'll be lonely while you are gone *sigh* but we'll survive. I know you can't wait till it's all over!

Happy Mother's day to you. All the best with the rest of the move. We all anxiously await your return, yada, yada, yada (or words to that effect...)

I like the wine with no corkscrew analogy... which is why it's a good thing to take along a swiss army knife :) Hope you get back soon

I'll be here waiting, patiently, or impatiently, depending on my mood, with lots of wine and the opener and we can roll around in the bubble wrap until the kids make us sit outside because we're making them nuts! Happy Mother's Day Sweetie! Oh and Goddess that you are- thanks to you, I can now do the link thing, did I mention that you rock!

Love that phrase, "see you on the flipside". And you will! We shall not desert you, no matter how lonely and gray it is without your sparkling posts. :(

Can only hold on until next week. Fine.....if we must. Miss you!

Don't worry, we'll never leave you! Keep packing and get it done. There's nothing worse than half packed boxes laying around. Loved the comment about the bottle of wine and no corkscrew.
Take care.

Kathryn! COME BACK! Was that too desperate? I'm not desperate... tehe. On a more serious note, think of all the fun you'll have popping the bubble wrap after!

You mean I don't have to spend an hour going through entry after entry? Well, what the hell am I going to do with myself?

hint: you can always push the cork down in to the bottle. I won't tell. ;o)

Hang in there, sunshine!

I know! I just went through the same thing - could not comment for over a week - about killed me! But, I'm here again and loving it and will still be here for you when you have taken the time you need! Don't you feel bad.

I was going to say the same thing about the cork and I have learned to keep a corkscrew on my key chain just in case I ever do get locked in a room with a bottle of wine.

I was out of town, so now that it's the 11th, my timing is PERFECT and you will be jumping back into action! YAY! I hope your move went well. Well, as well as well can be when the subject is moving. Hope you are loving your new home!!
