Aoccdrnig to a rscheearcer at an Elingsh uinervtisy, it deosn’t mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoetnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteres are in the rghit pclae. The rset can be a toatl mses and you can sitll raed it wouthit a porbelm. Tihs is bcuseae we do not raed ervey lteter by itslef but the rwod as a wlohe.

Now I sahll tset tihs tehory:

I akesd Cnnoor wehn the tcaheer tlod tehm it was an Airpl Floos jkoe and he siad not uintl the end of the prioed! Ykies! How maen!

Okay…you’ve no idea how difficult the above was to create…not to mention the fact that “Word” is completely freaking out-and keeps attempting to auto-correct my shoddy, substandard spelling skills….(say that 3-times fast).

All I kept thinking as I created the above was that if the majority of us can read it, then Margarete has to be some kind of visually gifted genius….as she’s the master-decipherer of all my crappy texts, don’tchaknow. Or, maybe it’s just that Margarete totally gets me…and there are only a scant few with this dubious ability. Whatever the reason, it’s always a pleasure to be understood.

Mother Nature took the phrase “April Showers” quite literally today…but yours truly is more than happy to acknowledge that at least it wasn’t snow.

Hey, I take ‘em where I can find ‘em.

Switching topics (something I very rarely do), I just came from ABC’s website where I caught the pilot eppy of their new comedy, Better off Ted. It stars the guy who used to be on Private Practice and the gal who’s married to Ellen. (This reminds me of the old guy who gives driving directions by saying “Turn left where the old Dairy Queen used to be….”) My point (because of course, I do have one) is that it was surprisingly good. Snappy writing…and this is saying a lot, given the fact that I was fully prepared to not like it, based on the stupid title. (ABC execs: take note.) Anywho, it’s definitely worth a look-see. I’ll admit, I’m a bit apprehensive about getting too attached to any show on ABC, as they’ve unceremoniously cancelled one of my favorite shows. After a month or two of wondering whatever happened to Eli Stone, I finally remembered to Google it and was dismayed to discover it had gotten the axe. A damn shame…the writing was top-notch. I shall miss my Eli.

Finally, many thanks to Jackie for the photo of her fruiting peach tree:

And Margarete for the photo of the Beverly Hills palm tree:

You guys sure do know what I like.

Hppay Airpl, all!
